Wisecrack

Winner of four 2026 Ambie Awards, including Podcast of the Year and Best Production and Sound Design, Wisecrack is a six part series from Tenderfoot TV and iHeartPodcasts that Alex co-wrote and lead produced. Comedian Edd Hedges returns to his hometown for a charity gig only to headline the most terrifying night of his life, a homecoming that unravels into a true crime tale of a town shaken by murder. Part comedy special, part true crime thriller, it beat out the likes of Call Her Daddy and Crime Junkie for the top prize. The series drew press from Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline, and more, and was named a Best of 2025 pick by Apple Podcasts. It is now being adapted into a scripted series at Universal.
